Healthcare disparities remain a major issue in global health systems, with significant inequities in access to care, quality of services, and health outcomes across different populations. These disparities are influenced by factors such as socioeconomic status, geographic location, gender, and ethnicity. In low- and middle-income countries, as well as among marginalized groups in high-income countries, healthcare access is limited by financial barriers, cultural differences, and systemic biases. This article explores the root causes of healthcare disparities and examines the impact these inequities have on health outcomes. We also discuss strategies for addressing these disparities, including policy reforms, improving healthcare infrastructure, and promoting social determinants of health. By addressing these issues, it is possible to move toward more equitable and inclusive health systems globally.
