Source of Funding and Fee Details for Authors

1. Source of Funding

Multidisciplinary Research in Computing Information Systems (MRCIS) sustains its operations through a diverse and ethically maintained funding model designed to ensure transparency and editorial independence. The major sources include:

  • Author Processing Fees (APC) – Charges collected from accepted manuscripts help support the journal’s editorial workflow, including peer-review coordination, digital preservation, web platform maintenance, typesetting, and publication services.
  • Institutional Backing – The journal receives partial logistical or financial support from academic institutions associated with its editorial team, enabling smooth operational functioning.
  • Voluntary Sponsorships – Occasional contributions from academic partners, organizations, or research-supporting bodies are accepted to enhance the journal’s open-access initiatives.
  • Print Subscription Revenue – Income generated from voluntary subscription orders for printed issues helps maintain print production sustainability.
  • The journal maintains strict integrity standards and does not accept commercial advertising funds that could compromise editorial neutrality or publication ethics.
